"It's Nauru Awarenesss Day; go learn about it!"

"Nauru, officially the Republic of Nauru, is an island nation
in the
Micronesian South Pacific. The nearest neighbour is Banaba Island
in the
Republic of Kiribati, 300 km due east. Nauru is the world's smallest
island nation, covering just 21
km² (8.1 sq. mi), the smallest independent republic, and the only republican state in the world without an official capital.[1]
It is the least populous member of the
United Nations."

WOW, Nauru. When the Olympics were in Atlanta in 1996, a group of quilters volunteered to make quilts for every Olympic team. My quilt went to - no kidding - Nauru. I was invited to the presentation ceremony, and met their Olympic team which consisted of three or four wrestlers. I was given a handmade beaded handbag from them. I had to share taht because it's not everyday that Nauru comes up.
